Description Lauwersmeer National Park is a unique wilderness of water, forests and rugged grasslands full of orchids. More than a hundred bird species breed here. Dus waagde ik nog een poging bij het uitkijkpunt Ezumakeeg-Noord. Daar staat geen kijkhut, maar je hebt vanaf een tweetal zitbanken een riant uitzicht over het Lauwersmeer. Toen ik arriveerde en uit de auto stapte kwamen er net twee mannen en een vrouw teruglopen van dat uitzichtpunt. In kort gesprekje kreeg ik te horen dat ook daar geen vogel.
